James Cameron liked to send notes to theatres/projectionists with his film prints, usually reminding them of the specifications recommended for playback wrt light and sound levels
Somewhere or other I have the card from the first run shipping cans from Manhattan asking the projectionist to make sure the film was run 2.00:1, not the standard 2.35.
I also have the card from Uncle Walt in the 1970’s below:
