I'm saddened to report the passing of Nick Regan in early March. Nick, a member of this Forum who was also with us on our previous site, had often written about how he enjoyed refurbishing old cine equipment and his involvement with Panchromatic Service & Installation Centre.
I'm sure all members join me in sending our condolences and best wishes to Nick's family.
Nick was a great enthusiast and I got to know him quite well, he told me at Blackpool his health was not too good. He had loads of Cine and still equipment and sold them once restored on his website. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
John
It was a very sad blow to hear of his passing and both our thoughts with the family.
Nick was a welcome trader at my own East Lancashire film fair, a fountain of knowledge and we all enjoyed chatting to him. We will most certainly miss him next month and in our collective journey with this hobby.
Gosh , I am shocked . I met him for the first time at Bkackpool last year , as I had agreed to put a lot of films on my table , he was kindly selling on behalf of a lady , who had lost her father recently . We managed to sell them all , a lot of collectors were very supportive when I told them the good cause the cash would go to .
We got on really well and he helped sort out a projector I was having trouble with. Took him about 5 minutes . Really nice guy .
I only knew Nick from the forum, but always enjoyed his posts and loved his enthusiam for the hobby. Condolences to his friends and family. He will be missed.
What terrible news.
Nick will be deeply missed, He was just getting started, and was doing a valuable service for cine and still photographic users.
