Bless you Paul. My wife and I started at 6am sanitising the room etc to keep everyone safe, setting up the tables and singing along to Muppets Christmas Carol Cd as you do..

Away from some nice films and equipment for sale it was great to see people sat round the Lancashire tea/ coffee area having a chat and catching up on all things film. Back to normal. Something you will never experience on ebay.

10 and a half hours after setup we left having had a great REEL day of film and friendship.

Special thanks to Robin Moss for projecting the Super 8 and wonderful to see Last Crusade on the screen.
Thanks also to Peter best man at our wedding for cellebrating 9.5mm 100 years this year and his 9.5mm sound shows . We did 16mm Star Wars Force Awakens.

I sold a S8 print of Raging Bull and the full feature 6X600ft in stereo to a fan of the great star. £99.00 It was a great feature and sold near the end of the day. Some very good buys to be had reely.

Thank you to fellow collectors who supported our cancer fund raising once again. I need say no more than thank you...

We were blessed to hear what great surprises were in store ate Blackpool later this year. The team have come up with a wonderful mix with what I can only call unmissable. Count us in for the full 3 days!

The event is clearly being organised by REEL film fans dedicated to the medium.
Dealers book your tables and collectors you will not want to miss be best UK event ever.

Thank you to the reel A team! A credit to the memory of Derek and beloved Derann and David.
    35mm on Friday I can't wait. Can I stay a week!!!!

I was told at CHC today that they were just the boxes for sale and that the film would follow to purchasers when printed. I had hoped to make it to both events, but the transport details (too many changes of trains) and journey times prevented it.

It was indeed a really good event and nice to have the chance to sit down and chat with fellow collectors. I've never come away from this without finding a bargain or three! Many thanks to Lee & Val for organising.

Really enjoyed have a couple of tables at Accrington with my great pal Geoff, who's now an amazing 85 years old and still has more energy than me!

Very friendly and informal atmosphere on Saturday and great to see everyone. Really hoping Accrington turns into the new 'Farnworth', now that film fair sadly is no more. Massive 'Thank You' to Lee and Val for staging this great event and all the hard work and organisation that goes with it!

Truly greatful for the read and the emails. Good to know that just the two of us made people happy which is the reel reward.
Yes getting to spend time with other like minded film fans in person is 75% of the pleasure particularly as we get older. The film is just as important of course.

2022 I can't believe how many new releases are coming forward it must be a new dawn so embrace them if you are able. No pressure.

We look forward so much to Blackpool this year and thanks to Si giving me a handful of posters these are now up around our town.
Blackpool is the centre of film all gauges so keep it at the top of your to do list.

I've requested the 2023 East Lancs Film Fair date and will confirm a little later.

You will not miss out Brian. Some took the opportunity to pre order Xmas 3 and leave with the box. We were a little worried of the great glossy box being damaged in the post. I take pride in upholding a quality new movie product we used to enjoy with Derann. My mission is to see it all happen again and it will.

I see no other investing in new varied prints here so we shall pick up the slack. Watch this space.
Better still register for our priority mail order list as detailed here. We have more than 10 prints in the pipeline not seen here for decades and I'm pleased to see my own film productions see a resto and S8 re release overseen by myself. This will happen after a TV screening.

                      Lee,

Congratulations to you and your wife on a successful show. There's so much hard work involved in setting these things up. Well done.

That line about investing reminds me of that quote from Yoda in The Empire Strikes Back..."There is another."

And best of luck to you both.
