  • Grahame Newnham's website

A sudden thought hit me today, does anyone know if Grahame's exceptionally useful 9.5mm website has been properly archived? I'm assuming that with his passing it will eventually disappear if the hosting company is no longer paid. It's not just the words either, it's a treasure trove of imagery.

Many people have shown interest in making sure the Wayback Machine has copies of the web pages they care about most. These saved pages can be cited, shared, linked to – and they will continue to exist even after the original page changes or is removed from the web.

There are several ways to save pages and whole sites so that they appear in the Wayback Machine. Here are 5 of them.

      Hi Stuart,

Grahame's website has been fully archived by a Group 9.5 member and can be resurrected if and when the time comes where the site will be deleted, assuming his family don't pay for an extension (not sure if they know how to access it either).

Grahame has stated the current site is paid for until 2030 so we have a few years yet before decisions have to be made.

I am so pleased to hear that Grahame's fantastic site will not eventually disappear.

He included such a tremendous amount of information gleaned over the years into his site. It was truly a labour of love.
