  • Ebay Description Howler !!!

I absolutely creased myself laughing over this description for a 400' film. I get the impression the seller really doesn't want to sell it....... but 11 out of 10 for honesty!

    The Ebay heading......

"The Beatles in Tokyo Concert - Super 8 400ft Colour Sound - Utter Garbage Print !"

    Read on.....

You can't dislike this honest fellow. Wouldn't it be great if this gets into a bidding war? And hey, you get a neat reel and box with it!

I had a bootleg LP of this concert which got a good price when I let it go. Audio quality was as he describes here.

I think anything reasonably rare on The Beatles commands good money at present. Whether this continues to be the case remains questionable. There is quite a over 50 and under 50 age spilt in terms of people knowing the Beatles music. Their reluctance to have their music on line for so many years didn’t help their popularity or awareness in the public arena.

I don't blame the Beatles for that. It's amazing as to how much bootleg, at incredible quality levels, you will find on the YouTube if you just search Beatles music. I personally got fed up with marketing my own music on YouTube and otherwise, because a lot of cheap S.O.Bs, who would never expect to give they're own work for free, will download my YouTube music videos, and then have the nerve to ask, "Hey, when is your next tune coming out?!". FU man, cuz I have kids and family to feed, and I don't have a bunch of free music to throw out there for a bunch of freeloading cheap son of a guns. So, I don't blame the Beatles for holding back a lot.

Think it was more to do with penny pinching greed from the Beatles. You can guess which one was behind it.

It’s not the worst I’ve seen. You can recognise them. It will likely go for silly money.
