"My Favourite Year" (!982)..one of the funniest and perfectly acted movies!

and perhaps Mike Newell can help me here. (Need a Blu-Ray with extra content)

Peters O'Tooles - "My Favourite Year" (!982)….seriously one of my all time "favourite" movies...not just for is brilliant comedy and characterization..but a wonderful Screenplay that is obviously about " Errol Flynn" - and O'Toole makes the role his own whilst capturing the "Flynn" persona... but such a great team piece it was a collaboration and delivered a "real" feel for that classic movie era.

I saw it when It first came out and O'Toole should have got the Oscar for it.

I searched for many years to find an LPP or equivalent low fade 16mm copy...never found one??

I have a very good DVD copy but am looking for a "top notch" Blu-Ray with extras...cant find one??

Its a classic and brilliant piece of movie making...

I agree, Mark, and it's one of those known to have existed on optical sound super 8, but I haven't seen one in years. I love the vintage early years of television, and Peter O Toole, playing an aging Errol Flynn-esque actor was one of his best roles!

Thanks Osi...yes its a superb film in everyway. I think I've just tracked a "Blu Ray" DVD down from Germany but unfortunatley..no extras.
