In honor of his birthday, I should watch Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Or seasons 1&2 of Peaky Blinders. Or The Dish. Just not The Final Conflict.

I enjoyed watching his little film called "The Odyssey" by the way he did own, might still have it, now called a classic car, a Austin A40 Farina" I had one of those cars back in the 1970s, and the mechanical rear brakes were terrible to get to work properly, I think I paid $200 dollars for it, what a piece of junk, now its worth a lot more .

Anyway take note of his comments at the end of "he Odyssey" about the journey of life....so true, enjoy.

              Edward,

I haven't seen it, but I'll make a point to. This looks like a very different type of comedic role for him.

I came across this wonderful photo of his Austin A40 Farina on the internet, compare that to mine cars in NZ were very expensive back then and mostly British There is a swap meet coming up next month, so there is bound to be some examples of the Austin A40 Farina on show. Mine broke its drive shaft while I had it in reverse up at ski fields. Those shafts was a weakness in those cars, had to get towed back of the mountain.

Ah! memories of being a motor mechanic those long ago days
