As many of you are reel film enthusiasts of the golden age of Hollywood this might be of interest. A new board game is
currently on kickstarter and will be released about December, looks great, synopsis

The year is 1947 and you are a member of the thriving movie-making industry of Hollywood. However, it is suspected that there are communists hiding among your small production studio slipping “un-Patriotic” messages, themes, props, and lines into your movies! Will you be able to find all the communists before your studio is shut down? Or will you be suspected yourself and banned from the industry?

Sounds like it is based on the McArthy anti communist witch hunt of the period which destroyed the careers of Hollywood directors etc. Our favourite family games at present are ‘UNO’ , ‘Qwirkle’ and ‘Carcassone’. The grandchildren love them, particularly when they beat Grandad. Ken Finch 😊
