I was sorting through of my home movies (again) today and came across several small reels with just a few feet of film on them labeled “crap footage”, “model airplanes”, etc. Basically it was all film from “the cutting room floor” that I kept when I was a kid. So I dug out my splicing kit and edited it all together with some leader in between to differentiate each clip. It was indeed all crap, but I’m glad I kept it. I haven’t set eyes on this footage since it was developed up to 43 years ago! The colors are still fantastic.
