Not a lot of good without films for it.
Later Rural models were, at least, sound projectors.

It should be in a museum. It seems a great shame that there does not appear to be a museum here in the u.k. dedicated to home cinema and to Pathescope in particular. Ken Finch.😉

        There is a museum.
It's in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The National Science and Media Museum.
It also houses an Imax cinema.
        I have been there.
Click to see some of its cine equipment. Once there, click on an individual picture for enlargement.

I visited the Bradford museum a couple of times some years ago but was somewhat disappointed particularly with the interactive displays. Many of them were not working due to having been broken by kids from school parties who were running around out of control and no one doing anything about it. One of the founder members of Group 9.5, John Burgoyne Johnson, donated all his equipment and Pathescope film collection to the museum, intending it to be displayed as a section dedicated to Pathescope but it never happened. There are other museums of the cinema. There is the one at Kennington and of recent years another Museum of the Moving image at Deal. I have visited them a number of times. There is also the Projected Picture Trust, now based mainly in Halifax. They also have a collection of narrow gauge equipment, but to the best of my knowledge none have a dedicated section to Pathescope and the home cinema. Ken Finch.
