Basicaly a 35mm half frame camera with fast motor drive, giving 2 seconds of cine per film at 24fps or just over 3sec at 18fps.

A 36 exp roll of 35mm yields over 1 minute of film.... the actual frames are about 30% larger than a super 8 frame .... the frame layout is multiple rows of four horizontal frames per sprocket spacing. Although , you have the hassle of changing film after 1 minute + of shooting ... it amounts to less than half the cost of shooting Super 8 film. See his website .

A bit like some early systems of movies I have seen in books.
I seem to remember Ilford once doing a 35mm film cartridge that managed 72 full frame pictures on a thin stock (I could be mistaken and am thinking of half frame) but if that were available that could double the shot length.
