They are quite a big chain in the US and also abroad. They were called Super 8 not for film reasons but because the original daily nightly rate was $8.00. Always makes me smile when I see their sign.

At our previous forum address I once had an Avatar photo I was holding a reel of S8 partially unwound checking frames. The full motel sign was right behind and above me.

Yep those were the good old days for sure. Seems like a great place for a collector's convention!!!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍

Housekeeping should clean that gate, otherwise you get those annoying green scratches on the walls.
