Kodak committed to manufacturing film as long as there is demand
That is great news! Remember Super 8 film stocks are cut down from the larger format. As long as Hollywood is making movies Super 8 should also stick around. If Ektachrome hadn't been revived as it was, I wouldn't be shooting film. I project only, so having a color reversal return in 2018 was exciting news!
That line in the article sums it up. “ We are committed to manufacturing film as long as there is demand from the filmmakers and photographers worldwide,” Did I not read Kodak were filing for bankruptcy protection awhile back. A very fickle company.
