I have a good friend from Massachusetts. She's a Parrot Head always in search for that Cheeseburger inn Paradise. Sad to hear this news he was a great performer. Not really in to his music but know he leaves a legacy behind. My condolences to any fans in this forum. Cheers to Margaritaville!

Years and years ago, my wife and I joined up for a 'working' cruise on an old three masted schooner which spent a few days sailing along Long Island Sound.
Stopping during the afternoon at one of the many small towns which dotted the inland, we went for a walk and passed a fellow lugging some laundry out of his bright yellow jeep into the local laundromat. We spent a few minutes amiably chatting before moving along.
It wasn't until the next day that one of our fellow passengers mentioned that somebody had spotted Jimmy Buffet in his bright yellow jeep.
We never even recognized him.Comment
