When I ran this feature film at the cinema I always turned up the monitor during those end credits. Anyway I uploaded it to Facebook a while ago, and for some reason just of late, its taken off with 80 plus shares. So I guess out there in internet land, I am not the only one that likes it

    Graham,

Thank you for posting this. I'm a big fan of Michael Apted's film. Ioan Gruffudd is splendid as William Wilberforce.

Your welcome Doug, After speaking to my better half yesterday, Yvonne said she would like to see it, as in the past I did not think Yvonne would be that interested in watching it, so today I removed the print out of its box. Its seven reels long, but this time round I will use the platter.

If there is one thing that irritated me to hell about this film, it's that there was no reference whatsoever to the fact that he lived in my home town of Hull in East Yorkshire. Indeed, Wilberforce House is only two or three miles away from where I live.
