I know I am jumping on another thread elsewhere but an interesting article on the restoration of Billy Connolly film Big Banana Feet. Apparently there was only one copy left in the world. They should look harder in the right places 😜😜😜 it was doing the rounds in 16mm and video. Least they will have a restored print. You will still need subtitles. This is before Pamela taught him a form of English.

Auch dry your wee eyes 👀. I’ll buy you a battered Mars Bar and some Irn Bru. I’m part Scottish. During a family holiday in Ayr my Mum (the Scottish half ) said to my Dad ( the Irish/ French part) who was admiring the view that it must be the 1st time in his family history that they weren't murdering raping and pillaging the countryside, Mind you he was the one into pipe bands.

Yes I remember it being offered or available at conventions but it’s a good media story that it’s a lost movie for the DVD Blu ray releases. I’m sure there was a video release too. Like the magic 13 Close Encounters feature apart from the mystical others.
