Attention Forum Members - Scammer sending private messages about wanted equipment

Similar to what happened back in September 2023, have you received a private message from "Charles Johnson" that said:

"hello are you still interested in getting this?. you can contact George he has a (insert wanted item here) for sale.........PM him @ zillinigeorge***@gmail.com"

Do not deal with this person.

This sounds identical to the scam a few months ago. They almost got me, but luckily they didn't succeed. I wonder if it's the same people?

The real question we have to ask is why would any member here send money based an unsolicited Private Message from someone who joined the forum in the last month, and never made a single post?
