I'm sure Mountain Films in the UK had various versions of A Night in Casablanca. I have a 150ft (on 200ft reel) extract, possibly the last few minutes no splice between countdown and picture, but as in box with no label I can't say for sure who did this.

I forgot about the latter 2 just mentioned.

Legal issues prevented ANIMAL CRACKERS from being issued before 1974, when it saw a nationwide theatrical release. Castle then responded in 1975 with two new extracts...from MONKEY BUSINESS.

[Confused]

M-G-M could have released a wonderful 800 footer of A DAY AT THE RACES -- not sure why they didn't.

I have seen "A day at the Races" coming up every once in awhile, but the others, especially "Duck Soup" are true rarities!!! [Eek!]

In my country, Spain, were edited as complete features Room Service and Duck Soup, using negatives from the 70's rereleases... Also were edited some fragments from Duck Soup with different titles.

Back in the 70's a collector and inventor , Lou Fazzari, took a 35smm print of Animal Crackers and made up a very few superb quality Super 8 prints. He gave me one as a gift. I still have it and it looks better than most of the 16mm prints I've seen of that one.
