Mailed him with a list of six titles on February 5, 2012. Still no answer.

I'm not overly confident..

In fairness, he replied to all my emails. Unfortunately, each one had sold. Third time I was lucky, except he then told me it was 75 pounds for purchasing the one film (quite a step up from 40). For many films, that is still a very good price, I guess. But I declined.

To be fair, he said clearly in his listing that over five film he will charge £40 each, otherwise if you want to buy under five films .He will price them accordingly.
When I Spock to him last, he was overwhelmed by number of orders, but he said few collector are giving him a hard time .He said they ordered and after he boxed their films they just didn't get back to him. I think it is wasting his time when he can invest it on genuine buyers.
I bought his collection of Tom and Jerry and many other titles like Christmas Carol, The Aristocat, and Song of the south which are all in beautiful conditions. I think at £40 each I have done very well .He is an ill man and it take him long time to find the films among his collections and then check the print, box them and arrange couriers. Please give him time and e-mail him back with your request .I can not wait to have his full list of cartoons and trailers, he said he has over 1000`s .I have no reason not to believe him because of the service I received from him .However, I am not alone to be thankful to his prices and his description of the films .Then again it is not easy to please everyone!
Again remember ... if you order over 5 (five) films you get them for £40.00 each ,otherwise he prices each film at it own merits. After all these I hope I be the one to get his cartoon list first

I've recently received an order from him. I haven't had a chance to check them out (I'll make a quick comment when I have) but if I'm as satisfied as Leon, I'll be grateful to have had the opportunity as the price was excellent and he had some unusual titles on his extremely long lists. It sometimes takes me quite a while to sort out a handful of prints to sell, so I can imagine that selling off a collection of many hundreds when you're elderly and not in good health must be an enormous challenge.

I won't bother sending more mails. Not unless he publishes an updated list, and preferably with some comments on condition.

I just bought a feature film from this seller, he responded very quickly to me and seemed like a nice fellow. I haven't received it yet, but when I will, I'll post my thoughts here. Since he uses PayPal, you can get a refund if he doesn't send your item. His prices are very low as well. The film I bought (Killer Fish, 2x 1600' reels, LPP) was only $180. Lets hope he delivers! Hi Mark,
I have phoned him to ask him if it is ok to pass his phone number to other collector. He was not happy about it.He said he is to busy sorting the collectors goods and answering phones would even make him slower than he is!! If he did not respond with your email, just email him again.
He said that he had few large orders from USA, but they are sorted out now .Hopefully, those buyer will leave us some feedback .The good news is that his new list should be ready by Monday.

collect are specialist, and I did'nt see any on his list, but he comes
across as a very nice person and very quick response.

Hello Hugh,
Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, he is ill and very slow. He has emailed his new list to me, so I correct his typing mistake ect . I tell you what he has pages and pages of feature films (Mad-Max , carry on doctor,Rocky 3 ,4 . Piranha ,top Gun,Lethal weapon ,Fire fox )and many odd reels and TV shorts such as Sherlock Holmes ,Roots (1977) 10 episodes and Greatest Heroes of the Bible (1978) 8 episodes and many many more .
If anyone interested you can email him at
16mmfilmbazaar at gmail dot com
I think It will be easier for him to attach his file and send it back to you. His cartoon and trailers list will be next.

[Smile] Best wishes
Leon

I received KILLER FISH in the mail and it looked stunning! This guy delivers super fast and it didn't cost much at all. I'll be buying from him again in the near future.

Mussa held about 10 titles for me for 3 months and then, without explanation, sold them to someone else. I was willing to buy at any moment without inspection. He kept stalling, saying he wanted to check them for me. Incredibly frustrating.

Today he sent me his new list and said "Maybe we can make a deal this time!" I was shocked. What is he thinking?

I responded, "why did you sell the titles you held for me to someone else?"

He replied, "Mike, past is past. I have many more prints you might like."

I responded thusly:
"Past is not past to me, Mussa.

I do not want to deal with someone who drags me along for three months to buy a few prints, only to sell them to someone else for no reason.

That's a bad seller. I would have probably bought 30 prints from you in the long run, but you hurt our relationship by your actions.

There's probably 10 titles on this list right now I'd buy, but it's not worth it to me to deal with a seller who causes me stress and anger. Life's too short."

So...Who got THE TENANT and ROSEMARY'S KILLER? Those were mine. Or they were supposed to be for THREE...LONG...MONTHS of waiting to buy them.

Mike I got the Rosemary`s Killer(in mint condition /no spices /no scratches ,the color 7 out of 10 ) ,but I missed The Tenant .Never mind he might have it in his next list.I also bought the Santa Clues the Move ( 10 out of 10 color and print/no splices/scratches - LPP)this one was a cracker . I am waiting for my next shipment [Wink] I definitely have to hide them from wife! [Mad] I think he have another copy of the Rosemary`s Killer ,because he added another over 100 new titles to his second list tonight. But they are mostly odd spools from old horror movies mostly Black and White .

Santa Claus The Movie was one he was holding for me, too. Ugh. Infuriating.

Mussa responded to me again today, apologizing and blaming his health for all of the problems with me. He may be sick, but he is certainly capable of selling prints to all of you. He just likes to hold prints for me for 3 months, and then sell them to Leon.

Mike if you wish you can buy them from me. I am fair with prices, but not as fair as Mussa ! Rosemary`s Killer for £195.00 and the Santa Clues the Move £350.00 .If you are not interested I will put them on ebay by this weekend .You have a first choice.
This time you don’t have to wait for three months .I will post them to you as soon as you pay me. This is called a fair deal. [Wink]

I have asked Mr Mussa just to look to see if the film he has for sale
is the film I'm looking for.The man has assured me he'll check the
title and get back to me.I'm quite sure he will.I'm not going to
ask about fade, film stock, scratches, splices etc as I realise he is
an elderly gentleman and unwell if I can make things easier, I will.

Hi there all,
I know some people have had doubts with this seller, but I really don't see why. From my experience, he has been very efficient in terms of responding to emails, and generally replies within less than two days. However, if 2 days pass and he hasn't responded, I generally find that he isn't going to. He is VERY busy getting through his feature films, and he does struggle to respond a bit (understandably), but he has been generally good with me.
However, what happened with Mr Williamson is rather odd...
Richard.

I have just received my film "Ulysses" from Mr Mussa and can
only say that the man is a gentleman and I have nothing but
praise for the man,who is in bad health. If you have an order with
him, please be patient as he will get round to you.

Yes, Richard. It was rather odd what happened to me with Mussa.

And also odd that after offering me a couple of the films Leon bought that were originally held for me, Leon has not responded to my email inquiry for 3 weeks now.

I get the feeling I'm just being toyed with by these people. Maybe they hate Americans. [Smile]

Whatever. I'm over it. But if anyone got THE TENANT from Mussa, consider selling it to me, please.

To those that got good prints, I'm happy you didn't have to go through the frustrations I did!

Hi there Mike,
Hmm, did you check ebay at the time? He said that if you didn't want them, he would put them on ebay. However, if you did want them, thats even stranger!
While I am yet to physically buy something from Mussa, he does respond very quickly to me and seems like a nice person. Thats why your situation does seem rather weird...
Richard.

Mike,
I was working away in Texas. I do have the TENANT like new print LPP .I bought it few years ago. If you want it you can have it for £70.00 + postage as I will be in Texas within next few weeks to complete my work. Anyway, I do love Americans because my wife is an American .
Unfortunately, I did not get your last email, and both films were sold to fellow American collector Steve ...Sorry
