Hi all,
I just became a member and thought I should say Hi! I've always been interested in the movie industry and movies. I got my first projector for $0.25 from some friends garage sale when I was 10 or so. An antique Keystone reg 8 from the thirty's I think. Was dreaming of running my own theater. Unfortunately I sold it my senior year in college. Hadn't thought much about it until my Grandfather passed away a while back and I inherited his home movies. Since then I have been picking up projectors and other film care stuff at the flea markets. Lately I have dove head first into the hobby and am really enjoying it. Needed to find a place where others could give me some advice on value, quality and anything film related. I think I've found a great place.

Welcome - you've found a good place to communicate about the hobby! I expect it may have been a surprise to discover that collectors are still able to buy some new releases on Super 8.
