A very consistant and detailed study with schemas, Typons , explanations (French language) pictures......

This is in French Language, but certainly Helpfull for SANKYO SOUND 600, EUMIG, HEURTIER, NAIGAI, etc....

The URL seems to have some issues, but i can get to the site via chrome.
I wonder if your browser doesn't like the url Janice, being unsecured. Try another browser like chrome just to check...

I am using chrome Matt.

www.web.jclaude.free.fr’s server DNS address could not be found server DNS address could not be found.

Hi Janice,

Does your browser modify the adress by adding www in front of ?

There is no WWW in front of address

Mathew, does it only work with Chrome from your side ?

I use Firefox and that works immediately.....Mystery

Janice,
the reason for this occuring in chrome for you is that it is by default using a prediction service, which i turn off as follows:
Settings -> Show advanced settings -> uncheck Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar or the app launcher search box setting.

This isn't chromes fault, but it is too much of a tangent to explain right now why this occurs. I hope this helps. Link to Phil's site

Yes Mathew, this is an other one from same Author, same subject.....

If you can read , you 'll find a lot of things too (for exemple use "Reverso" to translate some chapters)

Matt and Phil... I know about the prediction service and understand how it works. However I did a 'tracert' looking for the IP address of the URL and it still timed out. [Frown]

Phil...I tried adding the www. and without (sometimes that helps)... but not in this case...still the DNS will not resolve.

I don't have time to trouble shoot this right now... but will later. I'm really interested in the content.

Be aware that there are safety warnings in the French text. In addition to remind that all operations must be done with the projector unpluged, it is clearly stated that the explanations are for people who already have technical knowledges and are intentionnaly not always detailed.

The issue might be how Comcast has my access setup...don't know. However...I was able to view a cached copy of the page text...but unfortunately not the photos [Frown]

It's seems a bit complicated for me...but still interesting.
