Hi Michael, My first thought on reading your post was that you had one of the co-axial reel design Eumigs, which are prone to the very problem you dsecribe. But then I realised that the 932 is the later design with the conventional reel arrangement and two-sprocket film transport system. With this design I can see no obvious reason why the film jitter problem should only manifest itself after the first 200ft of projected film. However I have a couple of suggestions :
1. Try lubricating your films. If they are old they may be dried up and there may be some shrinkage.
2. Try adjusting the position of the FIXED edge guide in the gate. You loosen the two screws holding the guide and nudge the plate very slightly in or out until the film projects perfectly stable. This is a trial and error adjustment to get the claw perfectly centered on the sprocket holes, so use an old roll of film until you get it just right. Use the 'inching knob' at the back of the machine to slowly inch the film through the projector by hand while adjusting the side plate position until you eliminate any clicking sound caused by the claw hitting the side of the sprocket holes. Then run the machine and see if you have eliminated the problem. As I say, its a bit of trial and error until you get it just right. I had to do this on my 938 when I first got it, because I had a similar problem to yours - some films projected fine, while others would jitter. Once I had adjusted the position of the fixed edge guide the problem went away for good.
