Hey guys,
I was wondering about a feeding issue with my 16mm projector. The first problem I started noticing is that the film begins to bunch up sometimes in that area before the light picks it up. Its happened so quick sometimes that it has broke 2 of my films and I am afraid to put anything else in now. Its as if some of the rollers arent "grabbing" the film. Ive tightened all rollers down and cannot find one that isnt spinning.

The other issue is that my take up reel has begun to occasionally scratch against the film coming into it. Its almost as if the reel is warped, but I beleive it does the same thing with other reels being used as the take up.

Are there adjustments that can be made to the projector? Any info would be appreciated.

check the first sprocket wheel as some Eiki's have a spring loaded sprocket that can get stuck sometimes.. Not sure if that would cause what you describe, but you never know

Check also if your film cutter is trimming the leader properly.

Buy a reel of leader and use that when troubleshooting. It will save you from messing up a good print while you are trying to fix the problem.
