Just a quick thank you to Ian. I had a couple of problems with a recent order with Perry's. One telephone call and 2 days later Ian resolved the matter with no quibbles.

Ian had sold me a copy of Cinderella the other day and the print arrived very quickly, was as described but best of all his pricing is really great. Even with the Sterling!
Thanks Ian!

Hello,

yes, I can totally agree to that. Ian offers the best service and asks very reasonable prices for his films.

Best Wishes

So what is with the Ian Fan Club? Is he paying you? A free Dynamo Doc cartoon perhaps?

Bet that was a pink one Alan [Big Grin]

Ian, has in my opinion, allways been one of the fairest dealers to deal with. He will sort out any problems very fairly and quickly but where has he gone?

Dont see him on the forum here very often these days [Frown]

Kev,
Ian was vacationing in France these past weeks (Le Mans!). Maybe he's still wandering around, considering moving his business here! [Big Grin]

He doesn't.
His sales list appears on this forum regularly, though.

That's what I thought. A while ago, someone mentioned something about Ian having a website and I got all curious and asked what it was, to which nobody replied. Now I can rest easily again [Wink]

Hello everyone
I totally subscribe all the nice comments about Ian. I have been dealing with Ian for more years than I can remember. I
guess I can say that I am one of his good overseas customers.
I have bought and sold to him various projectors and literally
dozens and dozens of films. He has always been fair in his quotes and honest in his assessment of the equipment and films
condition. I am most gratefull to him.Long live Ian.

I just purchased two full length B&W sound features from Ian: "Some Like it Hot", and "Angels One Five", - which, incidentally, was the first film I went to see when I was old enough to go to the 'pictures' on my own!!

Totally impressed!! Reasonably priced and 1st class DHL service.

Another satisfied customer.

BTW - Mike Peckham - have bitten the bullet, so to speak, and ordered "The Ladykillers" from Derann. Duncan is having a new print made for me, as he is currently out of stock, so delivery will be about 4 weeks. However, he is going to mount it on 2 x 1,200ft spools for me at no extra charge, as well as offering me a pre-summer sale price of £60 below list - it is an expensive movie. Can't be bad, though!

I have also discovered a plethora of Blackhawk Old Time American Railroad films in silent B&W Standard 8 from Phil Johnson (USA). Again, superb pricing, reasonable shipping, excellent quality. Just had delivered today "The General" with Buster Keaton. Excitement knows no bounds!!

There are definitely some suppliers out there endeavouring to keep our interest alive. - Thanks guys!

A happy bunny once again.

Dave.

Anyway may I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind comments I really do appreiacte your kind

Bonjour Monsieur Ian, Ca Va? Vous avez beacoup du vin? Avez vous un mal de tete?
(sorry Jean-Marc I am not really v good at this!)

So good to have you back. I was beginning to think you had decided to emigrate closer to Jean-Marc! I was also wondering if you are suffering multiple personalities and posting all these comments! [Eek!]

Looking forward to the promised shed BBQ. Oh, and the July list of course. Can't wait to join the O'Reilly fan club. How much is it a year? Do I get a signed photo and a badge? [Wink]

Ok Ok I have to agree with your other personalities, you are truly worthy of the mantle "honest Ian" and with your new "David Dickinson" tan I am sure that the "Arthur Daley" image is long gone. [Wink]

So with all prices now having gone up by 10% to pay for the next visit to sunny France.......
