Yep, and thanks to you everybody and their brother is watching that auction now so those who were hoping to make a silent steal are out of luck now! I can't believe that woman was lucky enough to inherit THREE of these babies, though... man... she doesn't know what she's got.

Obnoxious?... Sorry if I somehow offended you, but it was only meant as a harmless joke. And telling me to "grow up" was rather harsh, too...

Whew! Apology accepted, thanks Steven. I was half afraid this was going to go down a rather bad way (been there too many times in the past). I do admit that my above comment was not one of the brightest I've ever made, so again, I'm sorry as well.
Peace.

Yeah!
I've sometimes hesitated before posting what I consider to be a humourous remark, just in case anyone is offended; particularly as I have often been told by family and friends that I have a weird sense of humour.
It can be difficult, especially when you can't see the facial expression or hear the tone of voice.
Nevertheless, I'm sure that we all are sufficiently light-hearted on this Forum not to take offence, especially when none is intended.
Let's all give each other the benefit of the doubt, unless it's blatently obvious that there is malice aforethought, vis-a-vis the recent expulsion which Kevin undertook.
Do I go for a GS?? Sh*t - I don't know - YET!!!

David,
Just post away and I will do the same and just for the record chaps unless I put it in CAPITALS then you will know my tongue is firmly planted in the old cheek!

Jan, your post was not offensive at all. I took it as an obvious joke, especially with the two graemlins at the end. And from the replies, I'd say other members did too.

Indeed, but there are still a few days to go. I suppose that the price will soar shortly prior to the auction's end. Who's willing to bid? I might be tempted...

I would certainly expect this to go well above £1000 and probably nearer to £2000. The xenon's dont come up on ebay very often certainly not in the UK and I dont think that Elmo sold too many in the UK to start with. They very rarely turn up on dealers lists so would expect quite a bit of interest in this auction and probably a good price at the end of it all. I wonder if this lady will put the other xenon and std GS's up on ebay.
Kev.

I have a feeling she's going to be completely blown away by just how much money this auction is going to make her, so I for one am pretty darn sure she'll have the other two listed in no time! Now if you'll excuse me, I kinda misplaced my pacifier and I could use a fresh diaper, too...

John Chanellor -- what makes you think it's a scam???? It looks perfectly legit to me -- her feedback is good... Did you notice something I didn't????

John,
I understand your concerns but she is offering a collection service. Not sure where in the UK she is but cash on delivery should be the way to go here although I do appreciate that for a US collector this is not easy!

It say's the auction was cancelled because of "an error in the listing". Something does not smell quite right here- I mean a little old lady with THREE GS1200's-----come on!

A good point Steven, I also have two GS1200'S. For some reason though, that I can't quite put my finger on, this particular auction remind's me of that priceless Ealing comedy 'The Lady Killer's'
