This is certainly a 'custom project'; it would help some, sales-wise, if the modifications all worked:
The reel clamps seem fine (in idea if not in handywork) but still, quite a bit of overkill for running 1200-ft reels of Super-8.
Electronic counter. OK. Perhaps a good thing, except it only works correctly in reverse, according to the text. In forward, it tends to stop intermittently.
Remote focus control: the motor doesn't work (the way it is worded suggests the seller is not the one having done the mods.)
The two mystery plugs on the front of the machine: he doesn't know what they do, but he adds a strange aside: the machine was used to record sound on films shot in time-lapse mode, so 'the plugs most likely were for control.' Whatever all that means....
Oh, and there's no exciter lamp with it, and the projector was only tested in playback...but other than that, it's the deal of the day.
The remote focus is a very nice idea, however.
Claus.
