Nice topic, Jeroen! Uhm... It will be a hard choice. But here's what I have in my mind: E.T. for sure (25th December).
And for the Eve? About the 'classics' we all have (I'm referring to Disney's) in our collection, the programme will probably be: THE SMALL ONE, MICKEY'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, SANTA'S WORKSHOP, THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, PLUTO'S CHRISTMAS TREE. And then THE SNOWMAN, T&J NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, MADAGASCAR PENGUINS IN A CHRISTMAS CAPER.
On 26th it will probably be show time with OUR GANG FOLLIES OF 1938, L'ALBERO DI NATALE (L'ARBRE DE NOEL - 1969 - by Terence Young) or LOVE STORY.
It will depends on the audience!

quote: AHH, GIAN!!! E.T. seriously? I'd sell a kidney for a print of that!
Definitely yes, Greg. I will post some screen shots as usual .
I know at least two editions of this movie exist. An American (that's the one I own in my collection: good print on Eastman LPP) and a German one on acetate. About this second print you should contact Kevin Faulkner. I'm quite sure he had both of them, so he would probably be in a position to give you detailed information. The German one could be still available, somewhere, but I'm not so sure about it. And anyway I heard it is not as good as the American one is (which is absolutely one of the rarest movie I have in my collection).
Hope you will find a copy, before or later, without having to sell anything so useful! [ December 04, 2009, 09:28 PM: Message edited by: Gian Luca Mario Loncrini ]
