I have read the posts here for quite a long time, and finally decided it was time to join in. A short intro - I have collected off and on for thirty years, have a gs1200, a couple of st 1200s, an st 800 ,an st180 and two Eumigs: an 810 d lux and an 807 d, and a nice Goko editor. I collect mainly laurel and hardy and silent comedy, and i have gotten such incredible info from this group over the years i wanted to say thank you - takes a bit of work to keep all these machines going - but i guess thats part of the appeal. I do have an HD projector and blu-ray player and while i enjoy them, they just dont give me the same feeling as putting on a reel of blackhawk film - can't figure out my neurosis, but i just enjoy the feel of film, i guess. i have been looking at the film-o-clean device and am just about ready to buy. One question if anyone knows - My Eumigs are set up for std. 8 - any reason I couldn't use the film-o-magic on this gauge?

Dan welcome to the forum, nice to see a fellow silent collector out there. As for the film cleaner, my guess would of course you could use it since it does not operate on sprockets so much as roller size, but Roy would be the one to ask. I still want to get one but let things get in the way...Any questions feel free to ask me offline aytab attheamericaonlinedotfollowed bycom
