I have a ELMO projector that is ELMO SC-18 2-TRACK SOUND RECORDING 8MM PROJECTOR. It has two film speeds on the controls at the bottom right under the built in tv type screen. I have it on 24 frames and it has 18 frames. On 24 frames it is running the sound a little bit fast. And 18 is really to slow. What do I do ? Is there some control in side the projector to adjust it a bit slower or is that just the way it is?

Hopefully there are a couple of speed adjuster pots inside the projector, one for 18fps and the other for 25fps. However, not all projectors have these and I don't know this model of Elmo. We really need some of the old members of the forum to return as we've lost a lot of the great help we used to get. They are still available elsewhere though so not all is lost.

Thanks Douglas for the site I will work on the sound for my Elmo. Do you know how I can put a picture for my display name like you got with all your collection? It looks really cool. I like your picture. Here is my picture of Super 8 Collection.

Hey Doug can you just use one of the pictures right here just copy it and file it then put it in. What ever one you like. And Bill the Animated Krytonian is a 400 reel with the first Superman 40's cartoon and Mechanical Monsters on it. I got it from RED FOX films many years ago late 80's.
