Janice, Tried that from both ends of travel and have the same result. Plus it is very noisy when at the travel extremes and quiets down around halfway. Unfortunately, when it does quiet down, the frame is divided at midscreen. I suspect something may have "jumped timing" and is a tooth or so off while threading or advancing the film. I guess I'll just have to open it up again and see if the frame adjust is binding on anything.
I just checked inside the projector and everything seems to move freely without binding. The condition appears worse in 8MM than in Super 8 mode. Is there a way to "center" the 8MM/Super8 mask?
Thanks. [ July 13, 2013, 06:55 PM: Message edited by: John Selph ]
