I’m really jazzed. Because of all the generous people on the forum I was able to get my first projector (a Keystone K-108) running, threaded and projecting my first reel film. This is so much more fun than popping in a DVD.

Thanks all.

Stu

Fantastic, Stu. This reminds me the first film I could project (A Laurel and Hardy) with a standard 8 projector.

Thanks, Gentlemen. I was just glad not to brake the film or burn out the light.

Welcome Aboard Stu - There's nothing like turning off the lights in the room and hearing that "whirr" of the projector running !!! - The smell of popcorn in the room greatly adds to the enjoyment !!!

Good Luck in your new hobby and stay tuned to this forum of truly wonderful people and you can't go wrong

Congratulations!

It's still quite a thing to see that projected image on the wall, off of actual celluloid! Nothing quite like (the best digital projection aside). [Smile]

Stu...this is just the beginning. I'm sure you'll be bitten by the film bug. The sound of the projector can be mesmerizing [Smile]
