This was a great one!
CineSea has this interesting momentum to it: it's kind of quiet at first, it may actually be possible to be there too early, yet one by one people show up, somebody lights up that first screen and it all begins once again!
I came home a couple of nice prints, which I still haven't watched yet, enjoyed a lot of great conversation and had some great meals too!
I actually fixed a personal regret this time. When I turned fifty, we went to the local theater to see a movie. The owner was standing there talking to the people in line, and I almost asked for a tour of the booth in honor of me reaching the top of the hill!
...yet I didn't!
Sunday after the end of ceremonies we went over to the Sea Theater and Joe Griesbach ran a show for us! I really didn't feel like turning fifty again, but at least I got my booth tour!
Being that Monday was Columbus day, we stayed over and went down to Cape May for a while. A side effect is we got to experience the Ocean Holiday after CineSea has called it a day for six months.
If you ever wonder what it looks like four hours later:
-kind of anti-climactic, don't you think?!
