So I have an AVI file that I'm trying to burn to DVD. The movie is just under 2hrs long and I'm using 8x Dual Layer DVD+R discs.

It burns and seems to play fine with no errors, BUT at exactly
1:01:25 it freezes for about 2-3 seconds, then continues again to the end with no errors.

I've tried Verbatim, Philips, and Memorex discs, and I'm playing it back on two different DVD players. I tried burning with Nero and AVStoDVD. Same thing in the same spot every time.

When I play it on the PC it doesn't freeze at all.

I'm about to try ImgBurn now.

Anyone seen this before?

Yep, sound like a layer break. You can confirm by burning to a single-layer disc. If the freeze is not there, then you know.
