I am just dipping my toe in the water here.

I have a copy of JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS feature Derann Release
still in its original printed picture boxes. 4 x 600'.

Reel One box has been signed by Ray Harryhausen although it is
a slightly faded signature it is the real deal.

If I were ever to sell it on what do you consider a good and fair
and sensible asking price ?

Guys its not for sale at the moment.
I was asking for a realistic asking price if I were to sell it in the near future.
Sorry to disappoint you. [Wink] [Wink] [Wink]

I believe $400-600 would be a realistic asking price these days. Of course if you don't know what its worth you can list it on Ebay and let the highest bidder win.

Jason and the Argonauts was always a desired title in the collecting world. I could have sold my copy 10 times over. I think I got around £350.00 for my copy and that was a good long time ago. The fact that you have an original Ray Harryhausen signature on the box will add to value with memorabilia fans. Realistically, if advertised on silly bay worldwide you easily could get £400 to £600 for it maybe more. A little rich for some but that's life. I would pick a price you are content to let it go for and let it run. Take plenty of photos and give it a good write up you might want to explain in simple terms what Derann was limited print run and the concept of super 8 film uniqueness and how you got Ray's signature to some of the num skulls out there.
