I'm looking for information about kempski and his scope features and such. Now, I already have a complete listing of all his features and shorts, but i know very little about Kempski himself.
Can anybody help?

Hi Osi
Kempski-Scoptimax few informations looks to be available on the Web and also phone too....... Dietrich Kempski was living in Garbsen (close to Hanover) when I met him on the 80's (I assume he was around 45 years old). He was using HTI Fumeo projectors...... It was easy to speak with him , so if anybody has a specific question , may be it could be interesting to call him at phone.

It would be great to see a complete list of all the Kempski prints that were available. Kempski like Derann really elevated the quality of super 8.

These titles were printed for Kempski from 83 to 93 approx in German Laboratory on Agfa Material (AG S3, S4, etc...). Then upon 9x, Negatives were sent to Derann. Due to the price, very few of each were sold during first period. So far as I remember, 4 of each were made in a same time (I got a 20cm Laboratory sample from Ben Hur print AND before splitting, so this is what I observed...) Genuine "Kempski" prints (producted in Germany) are "stamped" Dietrich Kempski on the Leader AND on the Tail.
I love that information! Usually, i think most of my kempski's have had some of the original leader spliced off, so it can be hard to distinguish which are Kempski's or which are very good re-prints by Derann. I didn't know that Kempski was still printing as late as the 1993!
