Hey all! I'm new here and new to projectors. I recently came across this projector at a thrift store. So far the motor seems to run well and the bulb lights up pretty bright. A rather quiet running machine really. The only thing that seems to be missing is the rear reel spindle in the arm. It's gone. I have to assume it broke because from what I've been able to gather these spindles assemblies had the tendency to break. Anyone have any suggestions or advice on replacement parts?

Welcome Daniel! Since these projectors are no longer supported the only way to get parts is to buy another donor machine or maybe someone with a parts projector can help you out. Sometimes Ebay has sellers that have parts to sell also.

Thanks to Doug Warren I was able to begin experimenting with this projector. I adjusted the take up spindle and threaded a test reel. Took me a few tries but I got it started. Here's where I ran into problems. The film wound begin to advance and then slow to a stop so I adjusted the tension on the front reel. I tried a few more times but the same result. Unfortunately I burned out a frame in the film!
