Hi Dennis...Do you have any video of your cleaning machine in action?

Hi Dennis,

That's quite an engineering job! But because I am a new kid on the 8mm block, I was going to start testing a - non private archive bought on the intenet - reel taking my first step to prep it completely manual. I have a ERNO PE-702 viewer for the setup as in the video.

What are the biggest advantages - or disadvantages doing it manually like in the video - of your cleaning machine compared to the old school method?

Cheers

I have to say that does look pretty good but also add cleaning the manual seems to work fine and cost 380 less. What are the advantages of doing it via a cleaning machine?

I have done it manually, but did not take long for me to get tired of constantly having to add additional solution to the cleaning cloth.

That is what inspired me to find a friend to build the machine for me.
