Rummaging among my spare Eumig lenses, I found an Eumig Suprogon 1:1 / 12,5 lens (in center of the photo).
I bought it several time ago, but I never saw it elsewhere. Does anybody know on which model of projector this lens was mounted?

Really didn't anybody ever see this sort of lens (Suprogon 1:1 / 12,5) mounted on a Eumig projector ?!?!

Renzo, the 1.0 lens fits the Eumig Mark S projectors (maybe other models as well but this I know for sure). There is a big improvement in lighting but the picture is much smaller than with the standard lens.

Thanks for that link, Maurice. I've been trying to find out more for some time about the 1.0/1.1 lenses for Eumig online, and now Paul's explanation from that 2005 thread makes complete sense. No more research needed!

The other 2 lenses in the picture are well known to me,and were made for the mk DL,which was designed to have a high light output,(dl = dual lumens) they have the standard 32.5 barrel,so would fit the mk s and other models that focus by twisting the barrel ie no focus knob on the side.
The suprogon f1.1/ 12.5 prime lens is unknown to me. I don't think it was ever marketed in UK.

Martin, I think I'm missing Something. When I read Paul's comments, I understand it's about a Kodak 1.0 lens used with an Eumig projector and not about Eumig lenses.

I regret to say that Dominique's comment is not correct. This lens is the direct opposite from that as suggested.
Fitted to a Super 8 projector you will get a picture 6ft wide at a throw of 14ft. A conventional zoom lens as supplied with a projector would only give a picture about half that width at the same throw at its widest setting.

Maurice, I compared with the original lens that came with my projector. I will add the specifications of both lenses later when I will be home. To be sure, are we talking about the same thing : the 1.0/18-28 (and not the 1.1/12.5 that would, of course give you a wider picture) ?

I am talking about the thread with the name of the Topic. "Eumig Suprogon 1:1 / 12.5mm Lens".
I was not aware that comments from Members have altered the thread of the original posting.
This lens seems to be a desirable accessory if a large picture is required at home.

Maurice, the picture posted by Renzo shows also an Eumig 1.0, hence my comment on it. I should have been clearer or just stick with the one quoted in the title maybe.

Sorry, Dominique, I should have been clearer. I meant Kodak Ektar for Eumig 800 series projectors. I didn't know that Paul Adsett had modified one to use on his projectors. I had been under the impression Kodak had specifically made a 1.0 lens with a non-helical barrel for the 800 series, but clearly they didn't.

Was it made for the Mark DL high light output Eumig 100w halogen non-reflector lamp? I know it came with a longer lens, but perhaps it was a little known extra.

The Eumig Mark DL came with a Supranova f1.0 18-28mm. But as Brian says, it might have been available as an extra for those who wanted a large screen at a short throw.

Thank you all.
I apologize if my photo created a little confusion. I was only looking for information on the lens on topic.
The thread has digressed over the other lenses in the photo.

Please note:

1) - the Eumig Euprolux 1:1 / 25 (on the left)
comes from my Eumig Mark DL and is the standard fixed focus lens supplied with the projector.

2) - the Eumig Suprovar 1:1 / 18-28 (on the right)
is an accessory variable focus lens built by Eumig for the same projector.

3) - the Eumig Suprogon 1:1 / 12,5
is the lens I was searching information about.
It has the same barrel of the others and fits on the same projector, but nowhere I ever saw it fitted on a Eumig projector or read something about it.

It seems to me this is the same for all of you.
Isn't it?

yes I agree,the suprogon is new to me,and I thought I knew about Eumigs product history!
I tnink 12.5 a much better focal lengh than 25 for home use.
