On the odd chance you have a tape head demagnetizer around, they do a pretty respectable job. You just need to approach the head gradually or risk scaring the rest of your household!

Turn on the amplifier by turning the volume control knob past its click position. Wait for about 1-2 minutes for the amp to warm up (its a valve amp). Turn up volume control and you should hear a welcoming hum!

I don't think so. The mic is used for recording, not for P.A. work. It's designed this way, otherwise you would have mic feedback from the speaker when recording. You may find the manual helpful from Oldtimer Cameras. https://www.camera-manual.com/model.php?modelid=3620

Hi Colin, Have a look at my sales list. Some of the films may have gone pink but the sound is good andf they are going very cheap compared to some dealer prices or E bay. Ken Finch
