The bags are unpacked, the films are out of the car, and I have already ran two 8mm Castle Films travelogues. Next I will start counting the days until the next show. I just wanted to take a brief moment to say thank you. Speaking for both Jenna and myself, we both felt very welcome in every aspect of the weekend.

There is definitely nothing like Cinesea. I enjoyed spending time with everyone at the motel, as well as the many conversations had while at breakfast and dinner. Thanks to Doug, I was able to purchase an 8mm projector, and I am so excited to delve into another aspect of film collecting.

If I missed anyone in my goodbyes today, I'm sorry. That being said I had a wonderful time meeting everyone, and look forward to seeing everyone again in April.

Best,

-Greg May

Hi Greg,

It's always nice meeting somebody new at CineSea.

(If I'm guessing well, I think you had a couple and a teenage boy behind you during Friday Night Feature!)

Exciting weekend, It was nice to meet people in the flesh. Amazing to experience all three gauges of film. Picked up lots of great items and came away with good memories.

Saturday night was the best eating out and watching a potpourri of films until 1:30am. We learned about Japanese Oysters and how they make Pearls. I brought some cool stuff to be shown that everyone would have enjoyed but they ran outta time. My only suggestion is maybe not good idea to show X rated trailers.

I had to get on the road early Sunday so I could not say my goodbyes.Got home with just enough time to unpack and take a nap before work. The bills must be paid and films must be bought.

It was very nice meeting you and Jenna, Greg -- and I am glad you enjoyed yourself! As you said, there is nothing quite like CineSea. It may not be the fanciest hotel, or the most luxurious setup, but the PEOPLE are what make it so special.

I always tell people when I go to CineSea, I'm going to see my 'extended family'. I yearn for it to come; get excited right before it's here; love it while it's going on....and then get sad when it's time to leave. You won't meet a better group of people (or have more film-related fun) that at CineSea. This is my 4th time going and every time I go it's a blast!

Steve, I am sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you or your family (but it was nice seeing you and having breakfast as well!)

Brian, they ran X rated trailers on Sat. night? Wow, I am surprised -- usually Doug runs a pretty strict "No nudity" program requirement (to keep with the family friendly theme of CineSea). I wonder how that slipped in? [Eek!]

It was a great time (even if I had to leave early, again) and counting down until April's event (192 days!!) [Big Grin]
