I have a FREE, to anyone in the world, free post, of a 200 foot black and white sound version of EARTH VS THE FLYING SAUCERS. This contains footage not in the 400 foot reel, including the bunker scene. Some of the footage is a little rough, splices and such.
One catch: It goes to anyone who can answer this question: What phrase did Ray Harryhausen coin for this movie that tickled Larry Butler, head of the special effects department at Columbia. Answer is on page 78 of Ray's Animated Life.

Happy birthday! No, that is Lance Alspaugh who does the re-recording. In fact, I got a feature from Derann that I wasn't too pleased with the sound and Lance has done a test on some of the leader. I think he thought possibly the problem was with the track itself. I should have the test early next week. What I thought about doing is taping a before and after. Will let you know the results.
