The 35mm prints was on five reels, but the 8mm was by some odd reason re-edited to six reels. Also the short scene at the end of the end credits had been moved to just after the "The End" credit, before the rolling credits begins. So if you, like I am, are a stickler for accuracy, you had to do some slight editing.

Hey Lars.... I do recall it being 5 reels when I ran it in 1980... short film, like 90 minutes or so. Interesting that Marketing did it on six reels for Super 8.

Thanks, Jim. I know the 3-reeler is more readily available than the full feature, and I understand the color has held up much better on the 3's. The crowds at my poolside showings are wanting to see it, so need to really find the full feature.
