I've got a small collection of advert reels but trying to build a larger collection. I am happy to pay up to £25 plus mailing costs for prints in nice condition on low fade stock only. Please PM if you can assist. I also have a UK shipping address if that makes it easier for you. Thanks.

They are showing up really frequently nowadays Jonathan on e bay Uk.

They do however often sell for much more than this amount if on LPP, especially the Pearl & Dean ones.

Late Trailer reels are equally selling for very high prices now as well.

I know Andrew. I've been bidding on them but only up to a point. Ive had six advert reels from CHC's lists over the last few years and they were only 13 quid each. What i've noticed is that these items on Phil's lists get snapped up almost immediately and sometimes (is it just coincidence) identical titles appear weeks later on Ebay selling for much more.

The dealers do offer you and us all, the very best bet with these.

When they have them, they do tend only to sell them for what now can be considered reasonable prices.

As you say Jonathan, the issue nowadays is being first to them when they come in, getting harder and harder now, I know.

I agree, Andrew. I have noticed that advert reel prices have really shot up this year.I picked up one on Ebay last year for about 20 pounds and that was mint.
Most of these auctions only seem to involve 2 or 3 bidders, so I might get lucky again one day!
