Mark, Put it in "General Yak"...... "non-film topics (video included)". The Forum has a place for it and , after all, it's a valid celebration of the great classics of cinema. Then you won't upset anyone!

i know there are many on here that as well as having super 8mm, 16mm etc also have digital projectors.also i suspect there are some that do not admit to having one even though they do. i honestly dont see a problem. its all big screen entertainment. but all this has been said before. so lets enjoy what we have.

For me, who has digital too, this hobby has been overrun by digital. We lost the magic of the cinema and I for one will hold on to my hobby and feel sad to see digitaltaking over here too. But, if it's only me, I can be on my way and use my facebook page

Vidar, I agree with you : blu ray has nothing to do in a "8mm films for sale/trade/wanted" section. As already said, it is posted in the wrong place.

hi Vidar. nobody is trying to take your hobby away from you. nor is digital taking over this site. just a member selling some blu ray films. ok posted in wrong catagory. but is he really doing any harm to this site.

Nobody can take it away, only me, which is unlikely. Just that there is so many places for digital and only a few reel places. But, there is a lot more digital here now than it was when I joined. It won't get better I think. Keep a film forum for film is my oċinion. Not more to say then

thing is Vidar digital is here to stay. like it or not. its progress. nothing stays the same. where would we be today without the advances in technology for things that we use and need in our everyday lives. everyone enjoy your films. whatever medium you use. good luck selling your items Mark.

Hi Chaps I just thought this is about the best spot on here to sell a few.
I`m film crackers too, but I need to get some paypal in regarding some films.
This little forum is the best going, and easiest going around.
I do project digital and its all about watching the film, but sadly prices for features are beyond me as still have 3 kids.
My last one is about to go to Vidar via UPS drop off.
But shorts and trailers still give me that buzz you can`t beat, so don`t worry. I was running films last night and will again tonight, only trailers usually in summer though.
Best Mark.
PS thanks David on Tora Tora Tora and Zulu.

Mark you're such a smashing bloke I think if you were selling a caravan here you'd be forgiven!
I kind of get what Vidar is saying here in that there are millions of sites devoted to video tech but sadly very few just for film so it does matter in a way to keep this site exclusively for film and film related matters.
At the end of the day lots of people, myself included, have posted digital tales on here so there are lots of us that can have a finger pointed at them I suppose.
In Marks case, it was a one off.... so no drama I reckon.

As Vidar said, it's not against you, Mark. Blu rays and dvds have polluted film conventions these last years. Let's keep this part of the forum "film only" :-)
