Hi, I’ve owned two prints of this Scope feature in the past and neither was ‘pin sharp’, and further degraded when screened via an anamorphic lens! I’d imagine they’re all similar!? Hope it helps. Best, Rick

Practically 17 years ago, Larry! I have not screened it lately however I recall it being a beautiful print, not dark at all.

I hope that this one goes for a healthy price, but this is only because (as many know the story), this specific print was a "labour of Love" for the super 8 community and I believe that Derann and a good number of super 8 collectors all worked on getting this released on super 8!
I wonder if this was, in fact, the last "Derann" feature release?

Yes it was Deranns last feature and as i understand it only around 30ish prints were made. In my opinion this one deserves to get a decent price. I myself had to pull out of a print at the time but as luck would have it i picked up a part 5 on a used list. Aside the opening, this reel contains the best part of the movie and makes a great stand alone extract. Quality is excellent.
