Hi All,
One thing i never got with my projector was a box or cover.
Although I like my towel solution to keep dust off, I was thinking a proper cover may be more appropriate [Smile]
If anyone ever sees a spare one, please let me know. I really don't want to pay alot, but if one can be had for a fair price, i should probably get one.
Cheers,
Matt

As these machines when new all came with their own hard carry case, I am not sure a dust cover exists for these in the way that it does for the GS1200 where no hard case was ever made for these machines.

Pat did a great job with his "home made" design.

Thanx for the info guys. I had no idea the 1200 didn't come with a soft cover.
I really like Pat's solution. Excellent!!
I have lots of boxes and cardboard to work with. This should be fun.....

Matt

Mathew,
Pat made me a really nice perfect fit soft cover for my Elmo ST-1200HD fairly cheap and perhaps he can make one for you too!

Matt,
The soft cover for the GS1200 also works perfectly with the ST1200 (just tried mine to make sure) [Smile]
I think the ST800 also came with a soft cover....

It would be a bit big Joe, the GS1200 is about twice as wide as an ST1200.

It's just a little loose. Believe it or not my GS1200 is only just over two inches wider than my ST1200 at the widest point. That includes the control knobs....

Fair enough Joe, I just thought from memory, that the GS1200 was far wider than an ST1200. I have the case for mine but I suppose for an ST1200 without one, this is the next best thing then Joe. [Smile]

I have always believed that for the price of a GS1200 when new, or for that matter a Beaulieu or Fumeo machine, they should come with a hard light weight carry case in the same way the ST1200 did.

Maybe Elmo figured out that if they had a carrying case for the GS1200 no one would be able to pick it up! [Big Grin]

For anyone who hasn't seen one, the GS1200 soft cover is well made, and although it may not be as protective as the hard cases the ST1200s came with, it does have a side pouch for the manual, and a front pouch for the microphone and/or power cord [Smile]

Thanx for the further info folks!
So, I would probably be happy with a GS1200 cover as well, even if it is a tad big...it would be better than what i currently have...
Looks like i will have to wait it out as 2 just sold [Smile]

Matt
