Just came across someone selling a 16mm print in 3D of 'It came From Outer Space'. It's a 600ft digest and the seller is asking £400!!! No mention of colour and has a slight vinegar smell. Also someone selling the same film on Super 8 (400ft digest) at £100. My copy has faded badly to the point where the 3D is almost ineffective. So, what are they offering and why do they think these are honest prices? Makes you wonder who would pay these sort of prices?

Hi have a 400ft B/W sound digest that I paid NZ$35 which is about £20 and as the colour on 3D prints fade so does the 3D effect as those with 3D prints realise,I have The Creature From The Black Lagoon on super8 and in 3D and the effects are nearly gone. Unfortunately if the big prices are paid then it sets the value of these films to unrealistic prices I think as well. For that price I would want the 3D effects to be excellent otherwise we might as well buy the flat version ! And that's my 2 cents worth
