Hi there. Since the hunt for Disney's 'THE BLACK CAULDRON' only took one day (thanks Adrian ) I'd like to know if BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY's was released on 16mm. All help will be appreciated. Ciao.

Eh eh... Don't worry Michael. By now my intention is simply to find all movies I've been after and are not available on 8mm. This is one of them. I have recently bought the trailer on 8mm, but I must confess I'd love to have the feature. One of my favorite. An 'evergreen'... Do you have any idea, Michael, if it exists? Grazie .

I'm sure it's around Gian, but I haven't had any prints personally. Good luck. Steve Sigel might be able to help. If he hasn't got a print for sale himself he'll know what's out there and what kind of prints of this title you can expect to find.

Well, the thing with 16mm is that prints have never been "released" in the same way that 8mm was. The prints would have been made for TV purposes or for rental libraries mainly, with some theatrical prints too. 16mm prints were not, with very few exceptions (Castle Films and such), released to the general public. I would guess that there would have to be TV prints of a popular movie like TIFFANY'S around - the question with 16mm is more like what kind of shape they will be in, whether or not low fade prints can be found.
You'll find that collecting 16mm prints is a whole different ballgame than collecting 8mm. My opinion is that you are much more likely to end up with crap 16mm prints if you're not careful than with Super 8.

I will say with a definite YES there are I.B. prints around of this title. In fact if anyone knows of someone missing reel #2...I have it. At least I think it is reel #2. Anyhow, I have an odd reel in I.B. in good shape looking for it's family to be re-united.

Hello Steven. Thanks a lot for posting. I was thinking to contact you to ask for it. Well, now I know it's going to be pretty hard. Thanks for your reply, anyway. CIAO.

Hi Gian, few months ago was a 16mm IB Tech. print listed on Paul Fosters website and it was sold immediately. But, how about a S8 release? I have a very nice 35mm IB Tech. print. Regards Oemer
