Just dragged home a Debrie D16, so stunningly simple and so easy to work on but it needs a little bit of tlc to get it up and running. Just a couple of questions for now. When I turn over the motor by hand a bit of resistance can be felt and then it slips at the rubber drive. Is this slipping due to the cams in the front unit or just a case of the rubber drive wheel being worn? What kind of oil should I use in it? Looking forward to powering up the old beast and seeing if it will run but that's after I convert the power socket.
