Hello,
my new Elmo CL-16 delivers a nice crisp image with the standard 50mm lens but the image is rather small. I am looking around for a trick to blow up the size of my projection. The Elmo 20mm lens should be ideal for my room size but it is quite hard to find I ve seen some Tele-converters for Elmo as the TC15A and TC15B that do the opposite. Does anyone know if you reverse these lenses if they will operate as wide lens converters? The one advertised at the original Elmo cl16 manual says that it can give either a 0.8x or a 1.25x depending on the way you attach it on the lens. Any other info will be much appreciated! Many thanks Vangelis

I can't advise you on the teleconverter issue, but ICECO in Miami has been selling Telex and ISCO (much preferred brand) zooms with proper bushings for any standard projector. Give Dara at their Miami office a call and see if they can fix you up. Sadly, like Kodaks, Elmos are a bit harder to find various focal length lenses for than Eikis or Bell & Howells, and short focal lengths are MUCH harder to find than long throw lenses.
